BotsOnDeck runs on a Grok Bot you already pay xAI for. We do not sell Grok, we do not resell tokens, and we are not an xAI product. This page is only here so the xAI side of the bill does not surprise you. We recommend starting on the standard SuperGrok plan; the bigger ones are there if you need more.

There is a free Grok tier, and it does not include Grok Bot, so it cannot run BotsOnDeck.

Grok Bot comes with its own usage, separate from your ordinary Grok usage. Expectations, not quotes. Plans, allowances, and Grok Bot eligibility change on xAI's side; check current plans and the Grok Bot pricing and FAQ before you count on a number here. We do not guarantee what any xAI plan includes.

Which one

Start on the $30 plan.

That is a recommendation, not a measurement. Consider starting with SuperGrok at $30 a month and checking your actual usage before upgrading. Plan changes are made in your xAI account.

What uses your allowance

Grok Bot has its own usage allowance, separate from ordinary Grok usage. What you do with Grok the rest of the day does not come out of it. Within that allowance, usage varies with generated images, publishing frequency and research. In no particular order:

  • Generated pictures. Stills the AI crew makes for you.
  • How often you publish. A weekly article is a different load than one a day.
  • Research depth. Scout reading widely before a brief, rather than a short topic.

Limits and billing

Your plan includes usage limits. Check xAI's current included usage, additional-usage pricing, and your account's spending settings before running the AI crew.

Why there is no article count on this page. xAI describes its plans as higher limits and higher usage, not as a number of articles. We have not yet measured articles per plan; we will publish results when we do.

BotsOnDeck is a separate bill. The plugin is free. Pro, which adds the AI crew, is optional: $29 a month per site, or $290 a year.

Your AI crew runs on your SuperGrok.
